I’m starting to get hangry

_, News   /

“When Fabian Raso and Mark Scattolon have to wait for a meal, they’re the first to admit that they get ‘hangry.'”

According to UrbanDictionary.com, hangry is when you are so hungry that your lack of food causes you to become angry, frustrated or both. The word is an amalgam of hungry and angry, invented to describe that feeling you get when you are out at a restaurant and have been waiting more than an hour to get the meal that you have ordered: ‘Where is that steak I ordered? We’ve been waiting for an hour and a half here. The service here is terrible and I’m starving! I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to feel really hangry.’

Raso and Scattolon explain their venture was created for the ‘now’ generation. Through a seamless and secure mobile app, Hangry lets users find local restaurants and place and pay for their order ahead of time for a small fee.”
