Stryker Canada planning Waterdown expansion
Stryker Canada is making an almost $100-million commitment to Hamilton.
The medical technology company announced Thursday it has chosen Highway 6 in Waterdown as the location for its new, 120,000-square-foot corporate head office.
“This is really the Canadian hub for our Canadian business,” company president Scott MacNair said after the announcement.
The move, which is expected to take place in September 2018, means retaining around 200 knowledge-based jobs in the local economy and securing an anchor tenant in the almost 100-acre business park located just north of Highway 5.
