Digital Health Communication in a Post-Covid World

Event Description

COVID has introduced many fundamental changes to digital communication in healthcare.  The “working group” featured in this session will discuss best practices in digital communication in contacting both physicians and patients.

The working group intends to cultivate their best practices of digital communications between clinicians, industry professionals, and patients.  The working group will act as a scholarly resource for students, academics and entrepreneurs interested in current thinking on digital health communication.

Participation

There is no registration. To join, either click on the provided Zoom link or type in the Zoom ID into Zoom’s “Join Meeting” function. Upon joining, all participants will be muted and may not be able to type in the Zoom chat.

Please bear in mind that this is a working group. As such, questions for the speakers have been pre-determined and will not be taken from the audience.

Zoom attendees can view the event in real time.  In addition, the video archive of this Zoom event will be made available on the websites for Life Sciences Ontario and the Digital Health Technology section of the Master of Biotechnology Program, at the University of Toronto Mississauga.  Audio of the event will also be uploaded to a podcast platform.
