Juravinski Cancer Centre serves more than 1.7 million people in the central west Ontario region and sees more than 7,000 new patients each year. As a regional referral centre, the JCC collaborates and coordinates with care providers in each patient’s home community. In September 2014, the state-of-the-art CIBC Breast Assessment Centre opened at the JCC to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary and leading-edge care in the diagnosis of breast cancer.

JCC is where cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation take place, as well groundbreaking cancer research. There are no overnight beds at the cancer centre. It is adjacent to Juravinski Hospital on Concession Street, with internal hallways linking the two.
