Algaeneers Inc is a biopharmaceutical and biomanufacturing company with headquarters and state-of-the-art facilities in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Our core strength is to harness microorganisms to produce things that people care about, in gentle, sustainable, and affordable ways.

Algaeneers provides contract R&D and contract biomanufacturing services. Our clients are pharmaceutical companies, companies that utilize enzymes (e.g. fermentation companies, cleaning product companies, and companies in the food industry), and federal and academic research laboratories.

We use microalgae and other microorganisms to produce industrial enyzmes and biopharmaceuticals (including biosimilars, biosuperiors, therapeutic antibodies, and vaccines). Using the tools at our disposal, we can also produce oils with customized properties such as a coconut-like oil, with uses in the cosmetics, personal healthcare, and health food industries.
