The Peter Boris Centre for Addictions Research advances the understanding of addiction through multidisciplinary research. Founded through a generous donation in memory of Peter Boris, the Centre is based at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and partners with McMaster University. Under the leadership of Dr. James MacKillop, the Centre explores addiction using psychology, neuroscience, economics, and genetics to develop impactful, evidence-based insights.
