Velocity is an incubator for early-stage, pre-seed tech start-ups.
We’ve combined start-up expertise, tools, business advisory, and product development services in one program (and one amazing place—over 37,000 ft2!) to create a suite of extraordinary resources for exceptional founders.
The Velocity Program is the signature entrepreneurship program at the University of Waterloo and offers:
- Velocity, our namesake incubator program for start-ups
- Concept, our pre-incubator program for students
The Velocity Program builds on the University of Waterloo’s competitive assets:
- strong academic training & talent output
- commercially experienced graduates with co-op work experience
- inventor owned and controlled IP policy
