The Centre for Integrated and Advanced Medical Imaging (CIAMI) is a comprehensive diagnostic imaging facility for students, educators, researchers, clinicians, technologists, and the wider community. Mohawk College and McMaster University have partnered together to establish the Centre for Integrated and Advanced Medical Imaging (CIAMI) for educational training, research, and MRI clinical use by our local hospital partners.CIAMI will propel technological advancements, foster new discoveries, and promote further interdisciplinary learning and collaboration that is directed around the patient and the learners. The Centre for Integrated and Advanced Medical Imaging creates a cross-disciplinary framework, where education, research and clinical care intersect through collaboration, fueling a culture shift in approaches to training and novel models of care.
The Centre for Integrated and Advanced Medical Imaging will provide educators, researchers, and clinicians with access to state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology, equipment, and resources to foster new discoveries and assess models intended to relieve a growing burden on the current healthcare system.
