Dr. Joshua Landy, Canadian critical care specialist and co-founder of mobile health start-up Figure 1, discusses the value of social platforms for healthcare professionals. Figure 1 is a free-access repository of medical cases available to the healthcare community, with 2.8M users in 190 countries on iOS, Android, and the web. Dr. Landy will share the value of integrating networking technology into medical practice and discuss the promise, pitfalls, and pearls of crowdsourcing clinical knowledge.
