SOPHIE Commercialization Projects: Access up to $100,000 in matching funds to work on a collaborative commercialization project with a world-class research hospital or academic institution in the Hamilton health ecosystem.
HEALTHI Program: Leverage $15,000 to work directly with research administration groups at Hamilton Health Sciences or St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton to prepare all pre-trial documents, protocols and processes required to launch your next commercialization project at one of Hamilton’s world-class research hospitals.
Annual Synapse Competition: Compete for +$100,000 in cash prizes at Canada’s preeminent pitch competition, following 4 months (Dec – Mar) of intensive workshops and training designed to support Canada’s next generation of life science start-ups. The Competition helps entrepreneurs, scientists and researchers to bring their ideas to market, increase revenues, attract investment and create jobs.
Health Innovation Partnership Portal (HIPP): representing +25,000 employees, +3,500 scientists, Canada’s leading Health Science university and 2nd largest hospital network, the Synapse Consortium created HIPP to enable innovators and companies to connect with the expertise, infrastructure, and resources they need to accelerate their commercialization efforts.
Hamilton Health Check-up: an open discussion for Ontario’s life science community to raise awareness of what’s happening in the health innovation space, identify partnership opportunities, and build personal networks.
