McMaster University Ranks First in Corporate Research Income
Research Infosource provides an overview of university corporate research partnerships as measured by grants or contracts received from corporate sources during the FY2012-2016 period, and finds that McMaster University has the highest level of corporate research income in Canada, at $479.5 million dollars.
At the same time, McMaster is also ranked first in corporate research income as a % of total university research income, with 29.3% of research grants coming from private sector sources. McMaster is also the most research intensive university per graduate student, raising $81,000 per grad student.
